JUNIOR SUPPORT & ADMIN STAFF – POWERTIME
Powertime is a level 4 BBBEE online and mobile commerce business with operations in South Africa.
Powertime offers users to access a range of services (prepaid electricity, prepaid airtime, municipal bill payment) online and from their mobile phones. Powertime‘s mission is to help residential users understand their energy usage and reduce their costs. We use smart channels to provide our customers convenience and critical knowledge about their usage.

Junior Support & Admin Staff
The ideal candidate will take a lead role as a Junior Support professional for an innovative international company in the technology industry.
The Job will require you to do customer support mostly via emails but occasionally via telephone and to do office admin work. It may be required to work remotely after hours for support. Located in the headquarters of Powertime in Cape Town, this position is suited for individuals with entrepreneurship spirit and with ambition to take part in the development of a very dynamic and innovative company specialized in Energy Performance Management Solutions and mobile/internet mobile applications.

-Carry out Support tasks on eCommerce Web and mobile channels and Prepayment Vending system
-Support the finance team by collecting and organizing daily reconciliation files, accessing various online banking systems and third party transaction management systems
-Respond to Ad hoc queries from external partners or internal staff
-Manage the preparation and sending of monthly newsletters to clients
-Analyse, diagnose and prevent credit card fraud
-Develop and maintain basic reports on Microsoft Excel and JasperSoft
-Perform admin duties such as document filing and other activities
-Early to mid twenties
-Experience in support or customer facing functions
-Preferrably 1 year experience in a eCommerce/Software application support environment, customer facing functions
-Wilingness to learn BI/Reporting applications
-Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
-Goal and result oriented individual.
-Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast pace environment
-Good analytical and problem solving skills.

-Willing to work after hours and week ends (active or stand by)
-IT diploma, certifications are a big plus
